Hyundai ix35 FCEV

The world's first carsharing service will offer only models with hydrogen fuel cell will start operating this summer in Munich, Germany. The program called for the occasion as BeeZero is sponsored by the industrial gases company Linde and Hyundai, who made available to the inhabitants of the capital of Bavaria 50 Hyundai ix35 FCEV units.

The truth is that this is a good opportunity to drive a hydrogen-powered car, in this case, the ix35 FCEV Hyundai SUV. To this end, it has been announced that reservations can be made through the Internet, either from the browser or an application for smartphone platform created to manage the possibilities offered by the service.

The fleet of 50 SUVs will be split between the center of Munich and surrounding areas of Schwabing and Glockenbachviertel Haidhusen. Few data have become more public, so we have to wait until the summer for details.

Indeed, to honor the name of the project, Linde suggests that hydrogen to be supplied comes from a sustainable way of production that does not provide more emissions. Not specify particular font, but under the resources group with hydrogen, it is understood that the hydrogen used is already produced by hydrolysis in the German plant in Mainz (Mainz Energiepark)

Despite the renewable sources of energy for said hydrolysis, the brand new MAN trucks transport hydrogen make Linde continue with doubts about what the exact impact "well to wheel" BeeZero.
